October 17 – Vestal Elks Free Chicken Dinner

The Vestal Elks Lodge at 2072 Vestal Parkway West in Vestal NY, is hosting a free chicken dinner, Wednesday October 17th-6:30 p.m. for Boy Scouting alumni in the Broome and Tioga county areas served by the Baden Powell Council, BSA.
The Elks Lodge is saluting Scouting alumni that were in Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing or Exploring and may want to reconnect with the Scouting movement.
Several active Scouts and Scout Leaders will speak about their Scouting experiences at the event.
For more information or to make a reservation for a meal, please call 607-754-7931 by October 4th, 2012. Members of the Hiawatha District Committee and local units in the District area will be on hand to provide details of the ways volunteers serve the local youth in the Baden Powell Council. College Students away from their home units and alumni from other Scout Councils can sign-up for the free dinner.
