September 5 – Kitchen Garden Tour at Kendal

Tour the Kendal community kitchen garden, 2230 North Triphammer Rd., Ithaca, Wed. Sept. 5, 6pm until dusk. Thirty Kendall residents share the garden, with plots ranging from veggies to herbs to grapes to flowers. Andy Oliver, garden organizer/manager and retired wheat farmer, will be on hand to answer questions. Take the lane across from the community center parking lot, drive across the bridge, and park near the mulch piles. Pre-registration is preferred, and space is limited. Fee: $5.
