August 9-12 – Brockway Truck Show in Cortland

Celebrating 100 years of Brockway (1912 -2012). Thursday, 11am, Husky Drive Road Rally, starting at the Central New York Living History Center and the Brockway Museum (4386 US Route 11). Friday, 5-8 pm, fundraiser dinner at the Museum, Pork Roast buffet by Bob’s BBQ, $25.00 per person (reservations required). 8 pm, Brockway auction, 9 pm fireworks. Saturday, 8:30 am, parade of Brockway trucks from the museum site to Main Street Cortland, where they will remain parked for the day. Brockway exhibit by the CortlandCounty Historical Society 9 am to 3:30 pm. Diamond Someday Bluegrass Band 11 am to 2 pm in front of Alliance Bank. Awards 3 pm on the stage in front of Alliance Bank. Then the trucks head back to the Museum for a chicken bbq and recognition of the former Brockway employees. $20.00 (reservations are required). Sunday 7-11 am, Pancake breakfast at the museum. NEW THIS YEAR: The Central New York Living History Center will be open and there will be a charge to view the Brockway Exhibit. The Tractors of Yesteryear (TOYS Club) will be open during the entire Brockway Truck Show in the barn on the museum site (4386 US Route 11).
