Highly original Caribbean adaptation of The Little Mermaid. Featuring high school and college actors in the Cortland Youth Bureau Summer Drama Program. A peasant girl rescues and falls in love with a wealthy boy from the other side of the island. The fantastical gods who rule the island guide her on a quest to test the strength of her love against the powerful forces of prejudice, hatred and death.
