Clean lakes and streams, dramatic gorges and waterfalls, fertile soils and rich diversity of natural communities make the Ithaca area a healthy (and fun!) place to live.
Environmental Exploration Days is a five day program designed to open up new opportunities for youth, 11-13 years old going into 6th, 7th or 8th grades, who enjoy the area’s unique natural beauty. You will visit cool sites, organizations, make new friends and find out what environmental opportunities there are to get involved. You will spend each day at a different location taking part in hands-on activities, getting wet, and taking fun hikes.
