For All Moms…Wherever They May Be

In this ever-changing world, of this I am sure…
There is no love like that of a mother’s love.
The song You Are My Sunshine just HAD to be written for a mom.
There is no Mother’s Day gift that can be purchased at any gift shop which will express everything you want to say to your mother.
There is nothing on Earth more comforting than my Mom’s voice, hugs and prayers.
No matter how old I am, there are frequently times when I am homesick for my mom.
Losing a mother creates a void that will never be filled. Ever.
“The mother is everything – she is our consolation in sorrow, our hope in misery, and our strength in weakness. She is the source of love, mercy, sympathy, and forgiveness. He who loses his mother loses a pure soul who blesses and guards him constantly.” ~ Kahlil Gibran
“My mother had a slender, small body, but a large heart – a heart so large that everybody’s joys found welcome in it, and hospitable accomodation.” ~ Mark Twain
“You never realize how much your mother loves you till you explore the attic – and find every letter you ever sent her, every finger painting, clay pot, bead necklace, Easter chicken, cardboard Santa Claus, paper lace Mother’s Day card and school report since day one.” ~ Pam Brown
“A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will cling she to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.” ~ Washington Irving
“All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.” ~ Abraham Lincoln
“ If evolution really works, how come mothers only have two hands?” ~ Milton Berle
“ The sweetest sounds to mortals given are heard in Mother, Home, and Heaven.” ~William Goldsmith Brown
“Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had, and dealing with fears you didn’t know existed.” ~ Linda Wooten
“Biology is the least of what makes someone a mother.” ~Oprah Winfrey
“My mom is a neverending song in my heart of comfort, happiness and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune.” ~Graycie Harmon
