7 pm, Beard Bldg, 9 Main St. Talk by author Betsy Krieg Salm. Examples of hand painted wooden objects will be shown as Betsy describes the schooling and handwork of the young artists. In her quest to get the message out about the talented girls who produced the beautiful handwork of that period, Betsy will sell her book Women’s Painted Furniture, 1790-1830: American Schoolgirl Art at her cost, $35.
