7 pm at the Virgil School on Rte. 392, Virgil. This event is free and open to the public.
The workshop will guide landowners through the process of understanding gas leases, terminating about-to-expire leases, dealing with force majeure notices and searching public records. Landowner rights in regard to compulsory integration, eminent domain, and mortgage & insurance issues also will be discussed. You are welcome to bring along a copy of your lease. Expert workshop presenters, Joe Heath, ESQ., environmental attorney, and Mike Bosetti, Virgil landowner, have offered many leasing workshops across central NY.
