8 pm, Center for the Arts, 72 S. Main Street in Homer. Sayers was nominated for Best Blues Song in 2011 for his tune “Back to the Blues.” The Austin Chronicle said of Sayers, “After Lightin’ Hopkins, no one plays the electric boogie shuffle faster or cleaner than Sayers.” General admission tickets are $25 for Adults, $20 for Seniors, $10 for Students 18 and older with Valid ID, and under 18 are free. Tickets may be purchased in advance at Bev’s Fashions and Origins in Homer, Jodi’s Hallmark, Sheridan’s Fine Jewelry and First National of Dryden in Cortland, Ithaca Guitarworks in Ithaca, online at www.center4art.org or by calling (607) 749-4900. If available, tickets will be sold at the door on the night of the performance. Social Hour begins at 7 pm offering desserts, coffee, tea, wine and beer for purchase as a fundraiser for the Center.
