Southworth Library Celebrates Reading with Events for All Ages

January 19 kicks off READ BABY READ! a weekly story time every Thursday at 10 a.m. with songs, books and fingerplays to share the delights of reading with little ones from infant to 24 months. Siblings are welcome and parents/caregivers are expected to stay with children during this delightful 15- 20 minute activity.
Our preschool storytime is every Friday at 10 a.m. with stories and activities for children of all ages. The next several weeks feature:
- January 13 Penguin party with Mrs. B
- January 20 Gentle Giraffes
- January 27 Australia day
- February 3 Polar Bears and pals
- February 10 Howlin’ Owls with Sue!
January 21 at 12:30 p.m.- Family Storytime at the library with wintertime hedgehog tales. Learn about hedgehogs with special guests Heather and Pistol Pete her real hedgehog! Come for stories, activities and fun for the whole family!
