December 3 – Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony & Festivities

5:30 pm, City Hall, 25 Court Street in Cortland. This festive event captures the true spirit of a small-town celebration, with entertainment for young and old. The City is pleased to announce that members of Randall Elementary School’s choral group will sing a medley of songs this year. Situated around historic downtown Cortland, the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony features live music, a visit from Santa himself, and the centerpiece of the event – the lighting of the tree on the City Hall lawn. Afterwards, all are invited to come in from the cold and gather inside the Fire Station for cookies and hot chocolate to warm your cheer.
