The Groton Public Library was awarded a $3,000 grant from The Helen Thomas Howland Foundation as administered by the Community Foundation of Tompkins County. This grant will allow the Library to expand and broaden our summer family entertainment series, bringing more arts to our community.

The late Helen T. Howland established The Howland Foundation to benefit Tompkins and Broome Counties. The Howland Foundation supports grants in the areas of aging, youth, animal welfare, and environmental preservation.
