Sunday, May 22, 2011, Christian Assembly of God, 175 Port Watson St., is hosting Evangelist Joseph Billy Bimba, president and founder of Global Gospel Ministries.
Matt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Brother Bimba will be speaking during our regular Sunday service as well as a special service at 6:30 p.m. that evening.
Brother Bimba is organizing a missions trip to Burkina Faso, Africa. Our senior Pastor Mark Lata and his wife Cathrine Lata in cooperation with the Assemblies of God will be leaving July 13th.
Pastor Mark will return after 2 weeks and Cathrine will return after a month.Pastor Mark and Cathrine will be helping to plant Christian churches, mentor Pastors and their wives and youth outreaches. Cathrine will be interviewed on the radio about her memoir.
Pastor Mark will also be helping with their broadcasting. There will be a love offering in the morning as well as the evening service. The monies will be used to help with the expenses of Pastor Mark’s mission trip.
