Topic: “Restoring America’s Delta” — a Conservation Multimedia Presentation by Marc Dantzker & John Bowman, Cornell Lab of Ornithology
Description: Marc Dantzker and John Bowman, from the Cornell Lab’s Multimedia program, will present their video production “Restoring America’s Delta,” a 30-minute video about the shrinking wetlands of the Mississippi River Delta. The film features the delta’s rich bird life, while examining our links to the ecosystem, the causes of its decay, and the potential for wetland rehabilitation. The video will be followed by a discussion that includes the team’s experiences documenting birdlife in the wake of the BP oil spill.
