George B. Bailey Agency Celebrates 75 Years

This year, George B. Bailey Agency Inc., in Dryden and Cortland, N.Y., celebrates its 75th anniversary. To celebrate the milestone, the agency will host an Anniversary Celebration & Open House Friday, April 1, 2011, from 3-6:30 p.m., at both of the agency’s locations—5 South St., Dryden, N.Y., and 18 Tompkins St., Cortland, N.Y. The event is open to the agency’s clients and the public. Refreshments will be provided.
George B. Bailey founded the agency in 1936 based on the principle of providing reliable insurance protection for the families and businesses of Dryden and the surrounding areas while treating them as he would like to be treated.
“We are grateful to all our clients, past and present, for trusting us with their insurance protection over the course of 75 years,” said John W. Bailey, CIC, executive vice president and third-generation operator of George B. Bailey Agency Inc.
