2011 Bridal Extravaganza

The 2011 Bridal Extravaganza will be on March 20th 1-4pm in the Banquet Hall at the Cortland Ramada, located at 2 River Street just off Rte I-81 at exit 11. This annual event is the largest bridal show in the Cortland county area with over 35 vendors from all facets of the bridal industry. The event is intended for brides-to-be to make face-to-face contact with local businesses who will each have their own space to showcase their services and products.

During the event, there will be a fashion show provided by Nancy’s Bridal Wear & Evening Gowns modeling today’s most current modern bridal wear. Discounted and clearance gowns will be available for purchase throughout and after the show. Tuxedos will be featured and modeled by Hage Tailor Shop. Floral bouquets featured by Shaw & Boehler Florist, Peri’s Posie’s and Wildflowers. Hair styling for the show provided Kay’s Styling Center, Lavish Salon, and Connie Gamel’s Beautique & Heather O’Rourke. The model’s make-up for the show provided by Annette Morris of Mary Kay Cosmetics. Also, limo hire in Perth is available if you want a limousine for your wedding.

The M.C. for the event is DJ Dale who will be announcing prize give-aways throughout the show from the participating businesses, including an all inclusive Two-Night Honeymoon package from the Hope Lake Lodge & Indoor Water Park, which includes: Lodging, Dinner for Two, Champagne or Wine, Breakfast in Bed, a Couple’s Suite at the Waterfalls Spa, and Two Indoor Water Park passes. Other exciting prizes being given away at this year’s show include an elegant 14-ct. Gold Black Onyx necklace provided by David L. Huffman Fine Jewelry and a One-Night stay at the Lynne Parks ’68 SUNY Cortland Alumni House. This year’s live music will be performed by the Cortland Trillium Trio and wine tastings by Bet The Farm Winery. There will also be food and cake sampling from local caterers and bakeries such as Catering by Joe’s, Cortland Country Club, Linani’s Catering Inc., Frosted Bakery and Dottie’s Ice Cream & Cakes.

The Bridal Extravaganza has proven to be a tremendous success in previous years with hundreds attending and with the most prizes given away, it’s the show not to miss!
