Cinch Art Space in the Corset Building at 75 East Court Street is fast becoming Cortland’s local arts, entertainment, and shopping headquarters, and this holiday season Cinch is hosting artists, events, workshops, and specials you won’t want to miss!

Artists’ Open House 12/6  5-8 pm:  Cinch Art Space has invited all of their resident artists and artisans to join them in a First Friday celebration!  The artists, whose work you can browse daily in the shop, will mingle and share refreshments with the First Friday crowd.  First Fridays at Cinch have become one of Cortland’s favorite events—come out for live music, great food, and great company…and it’s all free!

Holiday Gift Bazaar at the Corset Building: 12/1 and 12/8  12-4 pm:  The holiday shopping event that used to be the best-kept secret in Cortland will happen TWICE this season!  Shoppers can browse the works of over 50 local artisans, sample local wines and baked goods, listen to live music…there will even be a supervised children’s activity area.  This is sure to be the event of the season, so get your holiday shopping done at the historic Corset Building and all the shops and vendors within!

Gift Registry:  Needful Things is a free service Cinch is offering to patrons.  Come in and scan the items you love, and then when friends and family ask what you want for Christmas, birthday or other special event, simply offer them a Cinch business card…Cinch takes care of the rest!

Classes:  Skill-sharing is an important aspect of Cinch Art Space’s mission, and every month yields a new schedule of classes and workshops offered by area artists.  This season you can learn soap making, sewing, paper crafting, and more!
