Come support a new local business! Adams Chainsaw Carvings located at 985 State Route 13 in Cortland, across from Country Max. Grand Opening is Small Business Saturday: November 30th at 9AM-6PM. Owner, David Adams, recently moved to the new location at 985 Tompkins St Cortland, NY after selling his chainsaw carvings from his home on the corner of Tompkins & Broadway for the past year. After receiving immense support from the community, Adams decided it was time to open a business for his chainsaw creations.
Always taking new orders, he allows the customer to personalize the carvings he creates. Whether you would like a nice little bear to keep you company in your living room, or an impressive grizzly bear to keep watch outside your home he has the talent to bring it to life. Have an ugly stump in your yard? Consider transforming it into an eye pleaser instead of an eye sore with an on site carving.
Adams Chainsaw Carvings also specializes in creating impressive pieces for Local Businesses. His latest creation was for Hairy Tony’s Pub & Fare located on Main Street in Cortland. The owner ordered an impressive figure standing over 6ft tall that will hold his menu. He can be sure to make an impression and stand out from the long line of restaurants on Main Street with the eye-catching mascot.
Adams has been busy producing inventory for the Holiday Season. Available now are carved snowmen and trees for the holidays. Snowmen are available painted or left natural. The natural pieces would make a great family activity! Gather your family, put on some hot cocoa and paint your very own frosty snowman. Now that spring has sprung, many will be tempted to get the old chainsaw out of the shed, but be sure to check your chainsaw bar is not rusted and offers free movement for the chain.
Also available for the Holidays are Fresh Cut Christmas Trees and handmade Wreaths. The shop is carrying both Fraser Fir and Douglas fir trees in two sizes.
Take a look inside and you will find a store housing other unique gifts available. This years products range from handmade Sashay Scarves and some fine wood products by ‘Adams Creations’. Items available now are wooden Name Puzzles and Wooden see-thru piggy banks. Wonderful personal gifts that you won’t find at your local superstore. Give a gift that shows you care from Adams Chainsaw Carvings. We encourage you to stop by new location and show your support for local family owned small business. Hours: Tuesday-Sunday 9AM-6PM.
