Greenhouse Gas Emissions & Sustainability Press Conference

The Town of Ithaca, City of Ithaca, and Tompkins County invite you to a news conference to discuss the ways in which they are addressing the impacts of climate change, reducing energy consumption while saving tax payer dollars, planning for a sustainable, resilient future, and supporting green job development. Elected officials will discuss the opportunities for collaboration and cooperation as they work to achieve mutually shared goals and visions.
With each local government committed to achieving significant reductions in energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions, this alignment of goals represents a unique opportunity for the three local governments to coordinate their efforts in order to maximize success and spur innovation to achieve deep reductions in greenhouse gases, save tax payer dollars and build community resilience.
