Finance, Fitness & Fashion to address issues for women’s physical, emotional, and financial health
Cortland Memorial Foundation presents Finance, Fitness & Fashion, a community health event by women for women, will be held Saturday, May 7 at Gatherings in Virgil beginning at 8:30 AM. The event is sponsored by Cortland Regional Medical Center; Long-Term Care Associates; Tompkins Trust Co.; Pomeroy, Armstrong, Casullo & Monty, LLP; and Port, Kashdin, and McSherry, CPA.
“Cortland Memorial Foundation is proud to offer our fifth annual event for women. It is the women of our community who give so much in support of Cortland Regional Medical Center through their time, talent, and financial support,” said Jennifer Turck, director of development for the Foundation. “The workshops are designed to address financial, physical, and emotional issues that are so important to mature women maintaining their good health.”
Following a morning of workshops, Finance (click here to read the best bookkeeping services review that is mostly used by all), Fitness, and Fashion will wrap-up with a luncheon and the keynote presentation. Cortland Memorial Foundation is pleased to have Margie Ingram as the keynote speaker in 2011. Margie is a pioneer in the field of stress management and the connection between humor and resilience. She will share how woman can create more fulfilling lives, move gracefully through life transitions, and seize the opportunity to optimize their optimism.
Finance, Fitness & Fashion includes a luncheon buffet of grilled chicken, light pastas, spring vegetables, and tempting desserts. The price for tickets is $20/person and includes breakfast, workshops, luncheon, and the keynote presentation. Tickets are available at Bangles, Bags, & Bling, the CRMC Coffee Shop, the Foundation Office, and at www.cortlandregional.org or by calling the Foundation Office to reserve tickets at 756-3757.
