After 30 years of selling Avon, Terry Miller decided many of her customers would prefer to shop in a retail store, rather than order from a catalog & wait for 2 weeks or more for products. She also enjoyed creating her handmade jewelry & sport blankets, so she combined Avon plus her products and opened The Sand Dollar/Avon and more, in a booth in the lobby of The Beach House on Main Street in downtown Cortland. 3 years ago, the opportunity came along for a store space on the lower level with much more display space, so Terry moved downstairs next to Rum & Couture. She is now hoping to show her friends and customers the many fine products she has on display. At present, she is open limited hours [Mon–Fri 3:00-6:00 pm] and Sat 11:00-5:00 pm, due to her first job, but the future is looking bright!!
