Cortland Repertory Theatre Box Office Now Open

Cortland Repertory Theatre is announcing that their box office is now open for ticket sales for the 2012 summer season. Tickets may be obtained by calling 800-427-6160 or by visiting the CRT Office at 37 Franklin Street in Cortland. CRT Administration advises ticket buyers to watch for further announcements of the eventual move to the new “CRT Downtown” facility at 24 Port Watson Street, as CRT hopes to move the Box Office to this newly renovated building within the month.

Box Office hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 6:00, and Saturday, noon – 6:00. Once performances begin, the Box Office at the Little York Pavilion will be open on performance evenings from 6:00 – 7:30, and on matinee Sundays from 11:00 – 2:00. Tickets are also available 24 hours a day, 7 day a week online thru the CRT website, for a slight additional charge. Discounts are available for seniors, students and groups of 10 or more.

The CRT 2012 summer season includes: “THE LADIES MAN” a farce by Charles Morey, freely translated and adapted from “Tailleur Pour Dames” by George Feydeau from June 6 – 16; “GREASE” the 1950’s rock and roll musical with book, music and lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey from June 20 – July 7; the infamous musical “CATS” with music by Andrew Lloyd Weber from July 11 –28; Agatha Christie’s murder mystery “THE HOLLOW” from August 1 – 11; the multiple-award winning dramatic comedy “THE DRAWER BOY” by Michael Healey from August 15 – 25; and “THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP” – a comedy, farce, thriller and mystery rolled into one by Charles Ludlam from August 29 – September 8.

All evening performances begin at 7:30 PM. Matinees are offered on select days, with a beginning time of 2:00 PM.

Also, the “CRT Kids” program offers the participation play of “ALADDIN” created by Moses Goldberg on July 12, 14, 20 & 21 at 10:00 AM.

Tickets are also on sale for the CRT “FUN”d raiser, the “CRT CABARET NIGHT”, offered on Saturday July 21, which will be an evening of silent auctions and “tricky tray” raffles, with one-time-only, cabaret-style performances by the cast of “CATS”. Tickets are available for a discounted price until July 1, after which they will be raised to full price.
