After 30 years of selling Avon, Terry Miller decided many of her customers would prefer to shop in a retail store, rather than order from a catalog & wait for 2 weeks or more for products. She also enjoyed creating her handmade jewelry & sport blankets, so she combined Avon plus her products and opened The Sand Dollar/ Avon and more, in a booth in the lobby of The Beach House on Main Street in downtown Cortland. 2 years ago, the opportunity came along for a store space on the lower level with much more display space, so Terry moved downstairs next to Sound City CD store. She is now hoping to show her friends and customers the many fine products she has on display. At present, she is open limited hours [Mon–Fri 3:00–6:00 pm] and Sat 11:00—5:00 pm, due to her first job, but the future is looking bright!! Questions please call 607-753-7109 or 607-758-7788.
