Ithaca Swing Dance Network features Ageless Jazz Band

Dance to the swinging music of the Ageless Jazz Band Saturday, December 10, from 8:30 to midnight at the Community School of Music and Art (CSMA), 330 East State Street, Ithaca). This special event will benefit the programs of the CSMA–admission is $15 ($12 for students and elders 60+). If swing dance is new to you, come for a lesson at 7:30pm. Formed in 1990, the Ithaca Ageless Jazz Band is comprised of musicians whose love for swing music has made them one of the finest big bands in New York. The band has been featured on the nationally televised CBS This Morning Show, and has had numerous articles written about them throughout New York. The band features five saxophones, three trombones, six trumpets, a french horn, keyboards, guitar, brass, drums and enchanting vocals. The Ithaca Ageless Jazz Band plays music by big band greats such as Glenn Miller, Count Basie and Duke Ellington.
The Ithaca Swing Dance Network (ISDN), created in 1985, is a thriving nonprofit organization of swing music and dance lovers.
