Comfort Keepers of Ithaca, that services, Ithaca, Cortland, Schuyler and Chemung Counties, has been busy during the COVID Pandemic. Throughout the Pandemic, Comfort Keepers has had many calls requesting services such as; Care Management and Professional Homemaker services to ensure clients are not isolated with our help during this time. We are elevating the human spirit, bringing comfort and peace of mind to clients and families as we are assuring stimulation of clients. The programs that were designed during the pandemic are going strong and are preventing the client’s feeling of isolation.
Care Management – assisting clients with advocacy, transportation to medical appointments and checking in on clients via phone or in person during this challenging time of isolations.
Safety/Dementia Care – specialized care for seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Providing safety and medication reminders, customized activities to include social outings.
Professional Homemaker Services – allows busy adults to have a professional homemaker at a reasonable price to assist with light housekeeping, laundry, doing dishes, shopping, running errands, helping with social activities, meal prep, etc.
Companion/Homemaking Services – This program is geared towards our Senior Population assisting with all domestic services, errands, medication reminders and companionship and activities that are needed especially now.
Our staff is bonded and have training in COVID prevention. All caregivers are vaccinated and screened prior to each shift. Please contact us for additional information and rates.
