Another growing season is behind us at Valley View Gardens and what a challenge it has been!  Rain, heat and cold temperatures bring a host of challenges for the gardener. It has been our pleasure to help our customers meet the challenges each and every growing season, no matter how perplexing!

As the gardening season draws to its natural conclusion, our gift shop, The Cinnamon Apple Cottage comes alive! Showing love and appreciation for our family and friends is big part or who we all are and what better time than during the Christmas holiday season?  The Cinnamon Apple Cottage contains a wide-ranging selection of quality giftware perfect for all the people in your life. Musical clocks, artwork, fragrances, whimsical and holiday décor; edibles, holiday music; and unique gifts for men, women and children.

Returning!

UGG hats, scarves and gloves have returned this season! However, we also have “texting” gloves—the perfect gift for the young people in your life!

Turkish and Polish Pottery! Polish and Turkish pottery have spiced up our home décor lines with their vibrant, colorful patterns! One of a kind, hand painted pottery that are works of art!

Good Night books, popular “first books” for your children and grandchildren!  Dozens of fun titles from which to choose, such as:  “Good Night Farm!”, “Good Night Dinosaur!” and “Good Night New Baby!” make choosing a first book for young children a rewarding experience.

Plush puppets designed to spur the imaginations of our young people are popular gift items! Animal puppets such as pigs, calves, monkeys, frogs, cats, dogs, hedgehogs and much more are waiting to be adopted! Some even oink and squeak! Mini puppets for tiny hands are available too!

Beginning Saturday, November 16, you can earn ‘Cinnamon Apple Bucks’, each time you shop at CA Cottage. Cinnamon Apple Bucks allow a 10% discount on one regularly priced item, to be redeemed on your next visit to the shop! A great way to obtain distinctive gifts at affordable prices!  We appreciate your patronage and wish to make your visit rewarding and reasonable!

Open House!

Beginning Saturday, November 16, and on each Saturday through December 21, The Cinnamon Apple Cottage’s “Open House” will be held. Mulled cider and hors d’oeuvres are served. Special sales and Cinnamon Bucks will make shopping our ten-room gift shop a rewarding experience!

Hours!

Beginning November 1 through November 27, Thanksgiving Eve, our hours will be: Monday through Friday, 10 to 5:00; Saturday, 9 to 4:00 and closed on Sunday.  We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

On Black Friday, November 29, The CA Cottage will be open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Avoid travelling and the crush of the malls! Experience the charm of an old fashioned gift shop at the Cinnamon Apple Cottage!  

Sunday Hours will begin Sunday, December 1, 2019 through Sunday, December 22 from 11 to 4:00 for your shopping convenience!  We will be closed Christmas Day.

 After Christmas, we will be open December 26, 27 & 28, Thursday through Saturday, from 10 to 4:00, after which we close for the season. December 28 is our last day until mid-March when the gardening season begins!

The Cinnamon Apple Cottage is located “just around the corner” at 3797 Luker Road in Cortland, adjacent to Valley View Gardens Landscape Nursery and opposite Builder’s Best Do-It Center!
