T&T Diner – Delicious, Friendly, Affordable
Posted by Dustin Horton // January 23, 2019 // Local Business
Diners inevitably offer delicious comfort foods reminiscent of home, at super-affordable prices. The fare is often made fresh daily and presented in impressive proportions.
Such is the case at T&T Diner, the new kid on the block on Route 11 in Lisle, just outside of Whitney Point. The atmosphere bright, warm, and welcoming, as is the staff. When I dined there for the first time, I ordered the Daily Special, which was chili with a grilled cheese sandwich, with a salad. The lettuce was crisp, the tomatoes were fresh, and the Italian dressing was deliciously tangy! The bowl size portion was quite substantial for both the salad and chili, so I opted for a only a cup of the chili. Otherwise, I never would have been able to finish!
Opened in July of 2018 by Tresie Shedd, T&T Diner offers a complete breakfast and lunch menu and daily specials at reasonable prices, 10% off Veteran and Senior Citizen discount on Tuesdays, and everything homemade, including pies and soups. The delicious food and the friendly atmosphere make T&T stand out among similar eateries. There are several diners who come in for breakfast and lunch, daily, and stay just for conversation with the staff!
T&T Diner also supports community events and causes. T&T bought coffee and plates for a recent school program and participated in the 2018 Christmas Giving Tree program.
If you are in the area and are looking for a place to grab a bite, you should stop in at T&T Diner. Call T&T at (607) 761-2330 for takeout.
