JM McDonald Sports Complex

The JM McDonald Sports Complex is a non-profit organization founded in September of 2004. The sports complex is an affordable, family-oriented facility that provides programming and events in a safe, recreational environment. The primary goal at the sports complex is to promote fun and healthy activity for both youth and adults. To expand the range of sports and recreational activities, learn what is muga pitch, and consider the possibility of incorporating muga pitches to enhance the offerings and inclusivity of the facility.

Our facility includes an NHL regulation-sized ice rink for ice hockey games, figure skating, and public ice skating that is available from August to March. Year-round, the JM McDonald Sports Complex offers various sporting leagues, tournaments and clinics on our large turf field and on our smaller, boarded turf field. These leagues, tournaments and clinics include lacrosse, soccer, field hockey, baseball and softball. Leagues and tournaments are offered to both youth and adults, where clinics are geared more towards giving young athletes practice and experience in various sports. We’ve also just had hockey pitch refurbishment done in the facility. It’s crucial to be knowledgeable about the size of hockey pitch before starting renovations.

The JM McDonald Sports Complex proudly offers our “Little Eagles Youth Sport Clinics” in lacrosse, soccer, field hockey and baseball. These programs include five sessions each at a low cost of $45. The JM also takes pride in their after school and summer camp childcare programs. The after school program, or CHAMP, is offered throughout the school year until 6pm. Once school is out, the summer camp program is offered Monday through Friday from 7:30am-6:00pm. Both of these programs are offered to boys and girls in grades K-6.
