Past Peddlers Antiques

I’ve often heard it said that Summer goes by too quickly. I find, especially this year, that Fall is seemingly the fleeting season. It seems like just yesterday we were decorating the shop with rich golds, oranges and reds mimicking the mighty maples and oaks that fill our landscape. Today I see the reds, greens and golds of sparkling ornaments and glass balls adorning pines that now stand tall in the center of the shop. Beads of gold, twinkling lights and shiny glitter spill throughout Past Peddlers Antiques, welcoming the fast approaching Christmas and Hanukkah Season.
Sadly, Veterans Day has become just another day off and Thanksgiving is sped through in hopes of filling holiday wish lists on Black Friday. Our family would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to all the veterans who served for our country. We appreciate your service, now and always.
Past Peddlers has had many things to be thankful for over the years. We are grateful for those who helped to make my dream a reality from day one, who helped to shape and put some life back into an old barn that stands in the middle of Willet. We are thankful, and beyond appreciative, for our customers and friends that continue to keep us in their thoughts when seeking a gift for another or an added touch of country prim to their own home.
I have watched antique shops around me close their doors in the recent past, and Past Peddlers Antiques has seen its hardships as well, but this Thanksgiving season I am thankful for the strength to strive to be bigger and better than ever. With the help of a very good friend, we have overhauled the entire shop, and are adding new technology that is re-shaping the business in order to share our treasures beyond our own community.
Past Peddlers Antiques will always continue to provide all the much loved cabinets and furniture that continues to stand the test of time, one-of-a-kind oddities, and repurposed pieces. Stoneware bowls, crocks ranging from one gallon to 30 gallons, old farm tables, and wooden advertising boxes and crates are among some of our favorite things.
Although we began years ago with only antiques, we now showcase primitive home decor, handmade crafts, quilts and quilted items. We offer primitive decor, ornaments and holiday favorites from Prims by Kathy; Black Crow Candle Co. Jar candles, warmer tarts and room sprays; a large selection of pip berry garland and wreaths; wool rugs and runners; timered candles in a wide variety of designs and colors; wrought iron candle holders, decorative hooks and chandeliers; and much, much more.
There really is something for everyone at Past Peddlers Antiques!!!
For the upcoming Christmas season we will be offering pre-made gift baskets, a custom gift registry, lay-a-way and gift certificates. Our gift basket selection will include a little something for a co-worker, teacher or best friend!
