Calling all crafters! On November 4th the Central New York Living History Center will be holding its first annual craft show! The inspiration for our craft show came to us when we began to update the gift shop in the museum. When you walk into our gift shop you will see a wall of new items everything from jewelry, to afghans, to handmade soaps, and even organic honey! As we began to bring in more and more of these hand-made items, we started to see more positive comments about our unique selection of items. This started us down the road of hosting our very own craft show, and we would like you to be a part of it! Vendor tables are still available and can be reserved for only $25! You don’t have to be a vendor to participate or enjoy this event either! Just come in to browse the crafts and maybe buy a few while you’re at it, or you can take a break from the crafts and walk through our three museums. Each museum caters to a different type of history and takes the visitor on a journey through these three different eras of history. The Homeville Museum is dedicated to preserving military, local, and national history. The Brockway Museum is dedicated to preserving the trucks themselves and the history of the Brockway factory. The Tractors of Yesteryear Museum preserves the area of Cortland’s rich agricultural history. Whether you come to see some crafts or walk through history, there is something here for everyone!
