Ye Olde Goat Cart has been busy over the past few months preparing to make your holiday gift giving easy. Specializing in goat milk soap, but also carrying goat milk lotion, lip balm, and beard oil, Ye Olde Goat Cart has something for everyone on your list.
Ye Olde Goat Cart uses fresh, local goat milk in producing skin loving, great smelling bars of soap. Each bar of soap weighs over 4 ounces and is specially formulated to be long lasting. Many are scented with essential oils and colored with micas and clays, not dyes.
Goat milk soap is especially skin loving due to the many vitamins and nutrients found in goat milk. In addition, goat milk has a similar pH value as the human skin, meaning the skin eagerly absorbs those nutrients. All of the soap also contains other great ingredients, such as Shea butter, coconut oil, and olive oil. One thing you won’t find in any of their products are controversial chemicals or impossible to pronounce mystery ingredients.
Among the most popular soap scents Ye Olde Goat Cart has available this holiday season are Rosemary-Peppermint, Lavender, Frankincense and Myrrh and Billy Goat Gruff, which is made with a combination of essential oils comparable to Theives® oil. There is a very limited quantity of the Frankincense and Myrrh available, so act quickly for this extremely popular scent.
Ye Olde Goat Cart products can be purchased online at YeOldeGoatCart.com/shop. Shipping is free for orders of $30 or more, and local pick up in Groton is also an option. Each bar of soap is just $6.
Ye Olde Goat Cart began in early 2014 after a highly successful batch of soap was made for Christmas presents. Family and friends raved about the soap, and a small business was born.
Three years later, and Ye Olde Goat Cart has grown tremendously fast. A grant in 2015 resulted in a new soap making workshop and two goats, while orders have come in from around the country.
Ye Olde Goat Cart is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Drew & Maria Montreuil. They have two little boys in addition to their goats, dogs, cats and rabbits. Drew and Maria make all of their goods at their home at 114 Mack Street in Groton, NY.
