Cortland’s only bicycle and cross-country ski shop, would like to invite you to visit our store this Christmas season at our new location: 64 Pendleton Street, Cortland.
-
Is there a cyclist in your family?
-
Do you have some cross-country skiing friends?
-
Would snowshoes look good under the tree?
Come visit us by the railroad tracks where we sell Specialized bicycles, Alpina cross-country skis and Northern Lites snowshoes, the lightest snowshoes in the world. Our store is filled with equipment and accessories to help keep the fitness-minded person going.
The Rockhopper Sport 29 is a popular mountain bike we sell in our shop. It’s built for long-haul performance on the trail with corrosion-resistant hardware. The components on the bicycle are purposely selected at the manufacturer for their balance of strength and capability. It’s overall geometry helps leave the rider feeling confident and efficient on gnarly singletrack through the woods.
The Discovery 68 is a popular back-country ski that we sell in our shop, especially when winter covers us with the white stuff. Since the 70s, Alpina has manufactured high quality products in the skiing industry. Equipment advances mean greater skier enjoyment and improved performance. Many world records have been set by athletes on Alpina skis where their motto is ‘Winning as a Lifestyle’. The Discovery 68 BC skis have full metal edges, non-wax bases and wider widths for stability through those back-country places.
The Quick Silver 25 Northern Lite snowshoe is a common snowshoe purchase. This year, at our new location, we have a yard and with snow packing in, our customers will be able to try them out before considering making a purchase! Made in Wisconsin, Northern Lites snowshoes are super tough, super light and easy to get in and out of. The frame is aluminum alloy and the decking is made of military grade polyurethane. Toe and heel crampons make for sure footing.
We stock road bikes, hybrids, women-specific and children’s bikes. We carry touring cross-country skis as well as extreme back-country and Madshus race. We stock the extreme series of snowshoes as well as the race shoes for competition.
Accessories in our store include cycling jerseys, jackets, tights, gloves and helmets as well as locks, cycling computers, tools, lubes, tubes, wheels, chains, derailleurs, lights, and wintertime wax, scrapers ski poles and gaiters. Gift certificates available.
We continue to service bicycles in our full service repair shop. We offer sharpening and waxing for downhill skis and snowboards. Bring them in early and be ready for the snow season.
We are very happy in our new location! Our building is spacious and comfortable and our neighbors are friendly. Repeat customers have found us and we’ve gained new ones, many remarking on the new and improved store!
