The CNY Living History Center

3 Museums 1 price! The Central New York Living History Center houses 3 museums in one complex. Located in the former AB Brown building on RT 11 in Cortland, the center is proud to be home of the Brockway Truck Museum, The Homeville Military Museum and the Tractors of Yesteryears Museum.

The Brockway Museum is a permanent and rotating collection of antique Brockway Trucks, along with memorabilia and historical documents pertaining to the manufacture of the trucks. Former Brockway employees, visitors and Brockway fans are always astonished at some of the vehicles that have been found for the exhibit.

The Homeville Museum prominently features items from The Ken Eaton Collection. Exhibits focus on the Military artifacts from the Civil war through the gulf war, local history including the Homer Braves. A model railroad layout features displays relating to railroad history. A Vietnam War-era tank, a Jeep, and a GMC transport truck from the Korean War, as well as a wooden Thompson boat made in Cortland are also included.

Tractors of Yesteryear Museum is a collection of antique tractors and farm equipment from the Central NY Tractor Club. Also featured in the agricultural display is “Grandma’s Parlor” which is a rural living area that showcases early items that were seen in parlors, kitchens and households across early America.
