Pee Wee’s Wood – A Hidden Treasure Chest
Posted by Dustin Horton // March 27, 2016 // Local Business
Pee Wee’s Wood is a hidden treasure chest located at the Cortland Community Restoration Shop on Glenwood Ave, Cortland.
Owner Brian Peters, who worked for 27 1/2 years as a New York State Corrections Officer has now retired. And like anyone, Brian found himself with time on his hands and needed something to do to keep himself busy. And what talented hands he has, Brian designs and builds wonderful wood furniture that he sells at very reasonable prices.
In the shop you will find things like mirrors, wine racks, quilt racks, beds and night stands, toys and more. Just make me an offer he told me. If I think it’s reasonable, well you will be taking one of my projects home!
Besides his wood projects he enjoys doing odd jobs for people. Give him a call, maybe he can help with your home project or even build something special for you.
CCR (Cortland Community Restoration) is a community based pay it forward methodology. Local vendors like Brian can rent space to show their wares. The store also sells furniture and things for the home and also donates to those in need based on their eligibility. Item are gained by estate sales and the purchasing of storage units that have been left behind.
You can call Brian at (607) 425-1379 or to contact the store you can call (607) 319-6250 Tues – Fri 9-5pm and Sat 9-4pm.
