The People’s Market – An Antique Store with so much MORE!

In the past 4 and a half years since opening our doors we have continued to evolve, develop a following and now have regular consigners and antique people.  The People’s Market has the best of both or all worlds! We use our antiques and collectibles to decorate and compliment our locally produced handmade items. We have a collection of local artisans and vendors (40+) to supply the store with local photography/prints and cards,  pottery, handmade soaps, jewelry, candles, sunflower seed, hand knit items , fiber, yarn and  every bodies favorite…ALPACA SOCKS!

The People’s Market of Lansing is not just an antique store but a store with so much more! Come with friends or family there is something for everyone who comes to The Market! The People’s Market has affordable antiques from under $10 to as much as you want to spend! We get our antiques from estates, auctions, garage sales, our personal collection as well as consigners.  For this reason we have a diverse inventory that is constantly changing because we have people bring them to us! We price our antiques to move so that we can keep our inventory  fresh and changing regularly. The beauty of our present  location (behind our old location in the Lansing Post office Mini mall at 45 Atwater Rd Lansing)) is that we have storage space allowing us to store items brought to us so we can switch up our inventory! Maybe you want to come for antiques but your friends don’t “antique”… well we have something to keep everybody intrigued…a sports memorabilia section is a favorite…we have a substantial used book  library with most books ranging from $1-5! You name it and we’ve got it! We have fun collectibles and antiques that are sure to satisfy that walk down memory lane..Looney tunes glasses, toys, banks, etc.

In the food pantry arena we have LOCAL granola, gourmet cupcakes (Kathy’s Cupcakes!), eggs, cheese, jellies, jams, honey, hot sauces and salsa as well as maple syrup and cheese from the Finger Lakes region. We are a drop off location for Early Morning Farm CSA (which is presently having a summer sign up promotion) and we also have vegetables and baked goods from a local vegetable auction during the summer months.

We have become a regular stop for people in the area and enjoy the people we have come to know.
