Dryden Teen’s Wish to Go to Villa Aquamare Comes True

Seventeen-year-old Emily Banwell’s one true wish was to have a spa day on the beach. Emily, who is diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, chose to travel to Villa Aquamare for her relaxing week. The beautiful destination in the British Virgin Islands was somewhere Emily and her family had hoped to travel to when Emily was better.
In May, Emily and her family embarked on their trip to Villa Aquamare. They departed from Syracuse, NY and landed in Virgin Gorda, an island in the British Virgin Islands, where the resort is located. During their six day adventure, Emily and her family relaxed in a luxurious villa and were treated to meals prepared by Villa Aquamare’s renowned chefs. Emily and her family were pampered with a variety of massages during their stay, including relaxation, aromatherapy, and an Aquamare Signature Volcanic Stone massage. She and her family also went on a fishing excursion around the island of Virgin Gorda, as Emily has a passion for fishing. Emily was beyond grateful for her enjoyable, once-in-a-lifetime trip to Villa Aquamare.
