Hooray hooray it’s Memorial Day! Celebrate at BrainFreeze Madness Ice Cream Shoppe and Hot Dog Shack! Be sure to stop at BrainFreeze Madness for everyone’s favorite treat – ice cream to kick off your summer! BrainFreeze is located at 123 S. Main Street in Homer and offers a convenient Drive-Thru window, as well as outdoor seating in their pavilion and plenty of parking. BrainFreeze Madness Ice Cream Shoppe and the Hot Dog Shack is open daily from 11AM seven days a week. The Hot Dog Shack menu offers foot-long hotdogs, Texas hots, snappy’s, chicken spiedies, chips, hamburgers, french fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, nachos and giant pretzels! Make your hotdog more scrumptious by adding on peppers, onions or sauerkraut! Yum!
BrainFreeze Madness opened 3 years ago in May of 2012 and a year later added the “Hot Dog Shack” adjacent to the Ice Cream Shoppe building plus a covered pavilion. New concrete to dress up the grounds was recently added this year!
The Ice Cream Shoppe serves Turkey Hill soft serve ice cream, as well as Gifford’s Premium Hard ice cream in more than 50 flavors! Plus gluten free cones and a variety of no sugar added hard ice creams. Other items include low fat Greek frozen yogurt, dole whip, smoothies and shaved ice! The ice cream shoppe is walking distance from the village, and the only place where you can hop off Interstate 81, get some ice cream and get back on very quickly. Stop in a get your “Brain Freeze” going and try one of their hard or soft serve ice cream flavors! And leave your cash at home – BrainFreeze accepts credit cards!
