If you’re looking for unique gifts, something special for yourself, or an opportunity to learn a new skill, head over to Cinch Art Space in the historic Corset Building on East Court Street – that’s between Pendleton and Pomeroy.  Owners Kristin Avery and Tammie Whitson curate an outstanding variety of locally produced fine arts and crafts – and yes, every item in the shop is made right here in our region by one of over 30 artisan vendors currently installed in the space. If you’re interested, you can also visit rart.fr for online art courses and unlock your creativity.

All Local:  Find works by local jewelers, potters, photographers, and painters, as well as greeting cards, apparel, and garden art.  Cinch also offers sundries for home, bath, and pantry, such as soap and natural home cleaning products by Lime Hollow Naturals and spa products by Cold Brook Farm.

More than a Store:  Cinch is also home to local artisans offering classes, workshops, and events to the community.  You can learn soap making, painting, sewing, book making, and many other useful and enjoyable skills in the friendly atmosphere of the Cinch Work Space, or participate in one of the many events and art demonstrations offered regularly.  Visit www.CinchArtSpace.com for class listings and event schedules.

Room for More!  Cinch is currently accepting applications from local artisans and craftspeople.   Membership information and applications are available at www.CinchArtSpace.com or by calling (607)753-1304.

Shop Hours:  Tuesday through Friday 10 – 5 & Saturday 10 – 3
