Nightingale’s is fully stocked with shovels, rock salt, pet friendly icemelt, and heaters to help you keep up with winter weather. To keep your home warm and weatherized, we have window insulation kits, rolled insulation, pipe insulation and heat tape, and a wide selection of electric, propane and kerosene heaters. Outdoor Recreation and New Fishing Gear

It’s been a cold winter, but the snow has also provided opportunities for winter fun. Nightingale’s recently moved in a whole new selection of ice fishing gear, and other fishing supplies from the Bait and Tackle shop formerly in the Village of Deruyter. You’ll find ice sleds, tip ups, jigs, fishing poles and more to get you ready to get out on the lakes. Dry Shod boots are fully stocked for outdoor work and play- try on a pair of Arctic storms or Stedi Yetis for the warmest fit and most traction in winter ice and snow. There are also lots of hand and toe warmers for skiers, and Milwaukee heated jackets, vests, and sweatshirts that run on an M12 battery for maximum warmth. For the kids- there are are snow tubes sleds and toboggans

February is Chick Ordering Month

If you are planning to add some baby chicks to your flock this Spring- then February is the time to place your order at Nightingale’s.  Chick orders are placed during February (the deadline is Feb 28th) and will arrive the week of March 23.  You can choose from 8 different laying breeds (females/hens only) and can mix and match. Nightingale’s does not order many extra chicks, but instead primarily orders only the number of birds that are pre-ordered- so placing a February order is the best way to ensure you get the type and quantity of chickens you would like. Stop by the store to see a list of breeds available and place your order!
