Established in 1999, Long Point Winery was envisioned by owner Gary Barletta and his wife, Rosemary. Starting with only one wine, their version of Rose, Ciera. In addition, Amelia’s Deli was added to offer sandwiches, salads, and charcuterie boards.

Long Point has continued to grow, now offering more than twenty different wines on its menu, from sweet white wines to bold red wines. Customer favorites are the Pinot Grigio, Rieslings, and Italian red wines, like the Sangiovese and Barbera. The Barbera was recently awarded a double gold medal at the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition. Long Point Winery is well-known for its wide selection of dry, red wines. Producing Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, and a unique red blend called Rubitage.

Customers can attend their frequent wine and food pairing events. Long Point Winery offers five percent off three to five bottles purchased or ten percent off six to eleven bottles. Also, those who buy a case or more can receive fifteen percent off, and the 2017 Syrah is twenty-five dollars and comes from Gary Barletta’s Private Library. Long Point Winery is located at 1485 Lake Road in Aurora and can be contacted at (315) 364-6990 or their website at longpointwinery.com.
