Busby Auto Repair is a MOBILE mechanic service locally owned by Nathan Busby of Freeville, NY. Nathan is a husband, father of two, and grandfather of three. He loves that he now works for himself, making his own hours, doing what he enjoys most-helping others. 

Nate has been working with his hands since he was a child. He has always repaired his own vehicles and some of his friends in his spare time. He’s never shy about stopping to help someone stranded on the side of the road.

Nate has been in the automotive industry for over 25 years, getting his start in high school by delivering parts then working his way into mechanic shops. He has experience fixing cars, trucks, trailers, and everything in between.  In his adult years, Nate worked with Auto Parts Plus for over ten years until Grant Street Repair came knocking on his door. Nate remained with Grant Street until they retired their company this year. During that time, Nate discovered a great need for simple, cost affordable, at home or wherever you are type of repairs.

“There were many folks that couldn’t come to the shop or didn’t have means to get to where they needed to go for simple repairs” says Nate. “That’s where I come in! For oil changes, flat tires, tune-ups, brakes, whatever-I come check it out. If I can’t fix it or it needs to go on a lift, I can recommend some great local shops. And no need to bring it to me, I come to YOU!”

Nate raised his two young kids on one income for a long time, so he knows what it means to make a dollar stretch. He knows that you want the safest transportation for your family without having to replace something that doesn’t need it until necessary.
