In a world dominated by big-box stores, virtual shopping carts, and mass-produced goods, there’s something undeniably special about Cinch Art Space in the Corset Building, where you’ll discover that every piece is both handmade AND locally produced. Owners Tina & Tammie have a deep appreciation for the arts in our local community, and their passion is evident in every nook and cranny of their eclectic gift shop, now preparing for its 11th Holiday Season.

Explore the Works of More Than 50 Local Artisans

When Cinch says ‘local’ they really mean local! The majority of the items in the shop are handmade in Cortland County, with artists from surrounding counties like Tompkins, Broome, and Onondaga representing talent from all over our region. Shop for jewelry, pottery, textiles, fine woodworking, blown glass, photography, and other unique items that make for perfect gifts or cherished keepsakes. If you’re building gift baskets, Cinch offers local honey, candles, soap, and maple products to fill out your thoughtful arrangement – and don’t forget the cards! They’ve got those, too.

Celebrating Local Talent

When you shop at Cinch Art Space this season, know you’re supporting local artists and investing in the creative economy that is this community’s soul. In a world increasingly driven by convenience and mass production, Cinch reminds us of the beauty and value in choosing the unique creations of our local artists.
