Mabel & Miriam’s

Happy Holidays! My name is Barbara Nobles. Owner and artisan at Mabel and Miriam’s. The name is for my grandmothers who inspired my love for gardening and nature. I believe my new shop reflects that. I’ve worked in horticulture for many years, and have made a big leap to fall back on my other passion, art. I create home and garden decor from natural materials. No plastics here. I’m also passionate about bringing back brick and mortar shops where you can touch, feel and see the quality of an item you are purchasing.
Please visit Mabel and Miriam’s to discover that each, one of a kind piece, has its own unique look. Eclectic in style; there are driftwood items that range from tabletop art, garden decor, window charms and many others that will liven up your porch. Considering the important link between paints and the beauty of your home, there are custom painted signs for home or business, painted fish, all season wreaths, ditty bags and curiosities. I continue to create new items all year. Some utilitarian and some just for fun! Also in the works; planning some fun classes for January and February to keep the winter blues away. Terrariums, painting techniques which are used by interior painters round rock, driftwood projects and more. Like Mabel and Miriam’s on Facebook for all updates. Located at 2862 Rt. 11. Whitney Point, NY – across the road from the elementary school – same parking lot as Farmers Insurance. Holiday hours: Tues. and Weds. 10am-5pm, Thurs. and Fri. 10 am-6pm, Saturday 9am-4pm. After Christmas hours will be posted on Facebook. So please stop in to find something unique!
