Do you wanna help small business?
Stamp your passport along the way?
We want to see you more…
Please come through our doors;
It’s like you’ve gone away!
We’ve always loved your business
And now we’re slow
We wish you would tell us why!
Do you wanna help small business?
Shop local small business.
Go away big box stores!
Okay, bye.
Do you wanna help small business?
Stay away from the big malls—
Your patronage is overdue
We’ve started talking to
Merchandise on the walls!
It gets a little scary
All these empty tills
Just watching the hours tick by
Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock
Customers, we know you’re out there;
Maybe shopping too many chains?
The bank says they don’t care, but we sure do
We’ve stocked our shelves for you
Just use your brains!
We only have each other—
It’s just you and us
What more can we do???
Do you wanna help small business?
