Reakes Country Goods is celebrating our 25th anniversary of being in business here at 4107 Route 13 in Truxton. As we move into the fall season we close on Wednesdays to harvest pumpkins, gourds, mums and cornstalks. We are open the other six days of the week with fresh produce, beautiful fall decor, our unique gift shop and antique barn.
As the Christmas season approaches we close Halloween day for two weeks, to prepare the barns for our Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 16. We reopen Thursdays -Sundays with Christmas wreaths trees, kissing balls, and the barn filled to the rafters with our Amish furniture, refreshed gift lines, antiques, and holiday decor.
Each year we host a live Nativity benefit to share with the community and a special local family. This year our Live Nativity, hotdog chili roast will be Sunday December 8, noon to 3.
