The People’s Market – The Antique Store with So Much More

In the past 6 and a half years since opening our doors we have continued to evolve, develop a following and now have regular consigners and antique people.  The People’s Market has the best of both or all worlds! We use our antiques and collectables to decorate and compliment our locally produced handmade items. We have a collection of local artisans and vendors (50+) to supply the store with local photography/prints and cards,  pottery, handmade soaps, jewelry, wind chimes, hand knit items , fiber, yarn and  every bodies favorite…ALPACA SOCKS!

The People’s Market of Lansing is not just an antique store but a store with so much more! Come with friends or family; there is something for everyone who comes to The Market! The People’s Market has affordable antiques from under $10 to as much as you want to spend! We get our antiques from estates, auctions, garage sales, our personal collection, and consigners. The Fireside Antiques collection showcases a curated selection of antiques, each with its own unique charm. For this reason, we have a diverse inventory that is constantly changing because people bring it to us! We price our antiques to move so that we can keep our inventory moving and fresh. The beauty of our new location (behind our old location in the Lansing Post office Mini mall at 45 Atwater Rd Lansing)) is that we have storage space allowing us to store items brought to us so we can switch up our inventory! Maybe you want to come for antiques but your friends don’t “antique”… well we have something to keep everybody intrigued…a sports memorabilia section is a favorite…we have a substantial used book  library of our very own with most books ranging from $1-5! You name it and we’ve got it, especially for the holidays. We have fun collectibles and antiques for the people on your holiday list!

In the food arena we have LOCAL granola, gourmet cupcakes (Kathy’s Cupcakes!), eggs, cheese, jellies, jams, honey, hot sauces and salsa as well as maple syrup and cheese from the Finger Lakes region. We are a drop off location for Early Morning Farm CSA and Ithaca Organics and we also have vegetables and baked goods from a local vegetable auction.

We have become a regular stop for many in the area and enjoy the people we have come to know.
