Happy Holidays from the Chateau Dusseau, your local farm winery and vineyard in nearby Locke. As 2016 comes to a close, we want to give thanks to everyone who has supported our family winery, from the planting of our first grapes 15 years ago, to the celebration of our 10-year anniversary this past summer.
We had a successful fall harvest, and celebrated with music, games and wine. With the snow coming and the vines hibernating, we are slowing down, but not stopping. We’re bottling our Niagara, getting ready for upcoming music events, and welcoming guests every weekend to taste our wine.
This winter we are maintaining the farm not only for our wine, but for our other passion, maple syrup. For decades, the Dusseau family has produced organic maple syrup, and love sharing it with those that stop by the winery.
We are excited to see what 2017 brings and look forward to spending it with you. Next time you’re in Locke, make sure to stop by for a glass of our wine, a pint of local craft beer, and a taste of our farm-produced maple syrup. Bring your guitar, play a song, and stay a while.
