The weather has been mild lately and it may be difficult to imagine that winter will arrive. Rest assured, it is just around the corner! And so is The Cinnamon Apple Cottage, a unique gift shop conveniently located in the center of Cortland on Luker Road, around the corner from many shopping destinations along Route 281. The Cinnamon Apple Cottage Gift Shoppe is adjacent to Valley View Gardens Retail Nursery and opposite “Builders Best Do-It Center”!

New!  Book Section at CAC

We are so excited to announce the birth of our brand new “Book Section”!  A long held dream, we are now offering collectible, hardcover, annotated editions of classic literature by select authors. Our all-time favorite: Jane Austen’s ever-popular ‘Pride & Prejudice’, ‘Persuasion’, ‘Northanger Abbey’, ‘Sense & Sensibility’ and ‘Emma’. In addition, the works of Louisa May Alcott; Hans Christian Anderson; the Brother’s Grim; Harriet Beecher Stowe; Edgar Allen Poe; Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Mark Twain are also available while supplies last. These lovely books make the perfect gift for the classic literature devotee, each beautiful volume enhanced by the inclusion of historical notations and art on each page.

New! Inspirational Books and Music

Another new feature in our shop is the inclusion of inspirational books and music! Thompson Chain Reference (NIV), Side-by-Side (NIV & Amplified), women’s and children devotional bibles, as well as assorted study guides, are now being sold at CAC. Cd’s presenting the amazing voice of Geoffrey Andrews singing inspirational songs can be heard and purchased here! What a treat it is to listen to his soothing melodic tones!

Throughout the store, you will find unique gift and decorating items. We are told it is an enjoyable adventure, searching all the nooks and crannies of our ten-room store for that perfect gift!

We have expanded our children’s section for infants, toddlers and young readers to include books, puzzles, activity games, plush toys and more! A must see!

Refreshments

As in ‘days of old’, The Cinnamon Apple will be offering its special brand of hospitality by hosting “hosting our warm and wonderful ‘Open Houses’ every Saturday beginning now through December 24. During each “Open House”, there will be cider and cookies, as well as our famous spreadable Amish ‘Hot Pepper Jam’ and ‘Pineapple Salsa’ for your refreshment!

Sales and Cinnamon Apple Bucks

Throughout the season, special sales and discounts will abound including the traditional Cinnamon Apple Bucks, which applies an additional 10% off any one item each time you visit! Drawings for gift certificates and door prizes, too!

Our Fall décor is now 20% off! Christmas decor, scented candles, 2017 Lang calendars, and Christmas ornaments are now 10% off. “Pop-up” sales will be announced weekly, perfect for the Cinnamon Apple Buck user!

Hours

Our hours are Monday through Thursday, 10-5:30 p.m.; Friday, 10-6; and Saturday, 9 to 5:00. We will be closed, Thanksgiving Day. Black Friday, November 25, we will open at 8:00am – 6:00pm.

Sunday Hours

For your shopping convenience, starting Sunday, November 27 through Sunday, December 18, The Cinnamon Apple Cottage will be open on Sundays between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24th,  our hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for those last minute gifts! We’ll be closed December 25 &26, but will re-open Tuesday, December 27 through Friday, December 30 for your shopping convenience. We will be closed December 31 through the month of February to redecorate and attend nursery and giftware shows!
