Legends of Fall Outfitters

Since opening its doors the archery pro shop, Legends of Fall Outfitters, has not only evolved into the largest archery shop in central NY but also a quality family run business.  Owners, Jeff and Melissa Bordwell, bought the property in 1994 and opened the business in 1996. Jeff and Melissa have three children, now 23, 20, and 17 years old, that have grown up in the shop learning how to provide the best service possible. The whole family has a passion for hunting and shooting competitive archery. The family together has over 50 state titles, 7 national titles, over 15 national podium finishes, and 5 world podium finishes. Although the family has done extremely well in competition their most favorite activity hands down is hunting. The family enjoys harvesting trophy whitetail, turkey, waterfowl, upland birds, and even African animals. This passion for competitive archery and hunting has evolved the shop into what it is today.  The shop has a 40 yard indoor range that houses various leagues of over 120 kids and 100 adults in the winter time. Also, a 90 yard range is accessible outside. In 2011 the shop added on a new workshop for bows and now guns. Dillon, Jeff and Melissa’s oldest son, graduated from Pennsylvania Gunsmithing  School in 2013 and interned at Hart Rifle Barrels. Now Dillon is running a full blown gun shop in the store. Legends of Fall has acquired some of the best state of the art equipment and machinery to work on customer’s bows and guns. Legends of Fall stocks nothing but the best equipment that they would happily stand by. This includes Elite, Hoyt, Mathews, and Mission bows. Every customer that walks through the doors of Legends of Fall is greeted with a smile and a wagging tale of a friendly hunting dog. The family works to please every customer and provide the best service and insight of the hunting/competitive archery world. The bow and gun technicians are constantly learning new and improved ways to further the performance of every customer’s equipment. Jeff and Melissa are also not afraid to invest in new equipment and gear like Waterfowl hunting blind bag if that’s what it takes to be the best shop in the area.
