Pssssst Did you hear, Patti’s Place, located at the Groton Ave Plaza is one of Cortland’s best kept secrets. Have you taken the time to stop in an meet the variety store owner Patti Conklin yet? Well take it from me you need too! Patti unlike most store owners greets you at the door with a smile and a warm heart.
Once inside the store you will find a variety of new and used clothing, jewelry, tools, collectibles along with oodles of personal health and beauty products, school supplies and much more. Just last week I stopped in and found a pair of brand new shorts for just $3 and they fit!!! That’s just one example of the great finds in the store.

Oh yeah, did I mention that the proceeds of her sales go to creating scholarships for two lucky Cortland High School students in memory of her sons Mark and Michael Douglas.
